Marriott Bonvoy Introduces Upgrade List and Lounge Experience

What happened
Marriott International has announced two updates for Bonvoy loyalists: a Complimentary Upgrade List feature in the app and a new lounge experience. The upgrade list, currently available at a small subset of hotels, will allow elite members to see their position in the upgrade list before arrival.
The lounge experience, debuting in February 2027, will offer elevated food and beverage programming at 100 premium-level hotels in Asia-Pacific, with more hotels joining in early 2027.
The feature and experience aim to provide more visibility and perks for elite members.
