What happened
Former UP tennis player Sarah Jane Lim discovered pickleball in April 2023 and has since risen to the top of the Philippine scene. She now captains the Southeast Asia Surge and led the 38‑member Team Philippines at the 2026 Pickleball World Cup in Da Nang, Vietnam.
Lim also plays for the Parañaque Titans in the Manila Premier Pickleball Tour and mentors young athletes through The 3rd Shot. A mother of Piper, she homeschools her daughter while modeling fitness, sportsmanship, and a mindset that separates identity from performance.
Lim serves as an ambassador for Herbalife Philippines, emphasizing that athletes should focus on effort and attitude rather than results.
