Microsoft Launches Copilot Super App, Unifies Chat, Coding, and Personal Assistant

Microsoft today unveiled its new Copilot “super app,” a single interface that combines three AI capabilities—chat, coding, and agents—into one streamlined experience. The app features three tabs: Home, Code, and Autopilot. Home merges Copilot Chat with Cowork, serving as the default landing page for users. The Code tab focuses on programming assistance, while the Autopilot tab houses the rebranded AI personal assistant, formerly known as Scout. Microsoft also announced a Today feature that will act as a personalized dashboard for important updates and tasks. The launch positions Copilot as a central hub for productivity, aiming to rival the influence of Microsoft Office.
