What happened
NASA and SpaceX have scheduled the Crew‑12 Dragon spacecraft to undock from the International Space Station no earlier than 8:05 a. m. EDT on Wednesday, Oct. 7, pending weather and readiness checks. The crew—NASA astronauts Jack Hathaway and Jessica Meir, ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev—will splash down off California’s coast at about 11:34 a.
m. on Thursday, Oct. 8. Live coverage will be streamed across multiple platforms, with a detailed schedule that includes hatch closure, undocking, deorbit burn, and splashdown.
NASA will also host a briefing on Oct. 8 at 1:15 p. m. to discuss the return and the upcoming SpaceX Commercial Resupply Services‑35 launch.
