Cyprus Celebrates European Mobility Week with Community Events

The Laou Laou event returns to the Ayioi Omologites neighbourhood in Nicosia this Sunday, September 20, as part of European Mobility Week. The event, led by the OPU Collective, features car-free activities including street games, walks, music, and a bike ride by the Dutch embassy. The activities will run from 10am to 10pm, with a series of short animated films about traffic and neighbourhoods screened in birdboxes displayed around the neighbourhood. Visitors can walk, cycle, or take a free bus to the event, which is part of a week of action across Cyprus. The OPU Collective is also supporting events in Limassol and Nicosia's Surlariçi neighbourhood.
