Nepal Flash Floods: Remote Sensing Reveals Extensive Damage in Bidur Municipality

A recent remote sensing damage screening in Nepal has identified significant changes in Bidur Municipality, with the largest area of high-confidence change signal and the highest share of assessed built-up area showing possible infrastructure damage. Other municipalities in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading districts, including Belkotgadhi, Gosaikunda, Uttargaya, Gajuri, and Galchhi, have also been affected. The screening suggests that these areas may have suffered extensive damage, consistent with other reports identifying these districts as among the most affected by the flash floods.
