New Tai Po School Premises Open After Temporary Relocation

What happened
The Tai Po Baptist Public School (TPBPS) has officially opened its new premises at Fu Shin Estate in Tai Po, Hong Kong. The school had to temporarily relocate due to a fire at its original premises, Wang Fuk Court.
Secretary for Education Choi Yuk-lin officiated at the opening ceremony, praising the school's principal, staff, students, and parents for their perseverance and cooperation. The Education Bureau allocated vacant school premises for TPBPS to use from the 2026-27 school year and set aside a one-off grant of $1 million to meet expenses related to the relocation.
The bureau also provided additional resources of $4 million to support the school and its temporary host schools, Tai Po Government Primary School and NTWJWA Christian Remembrance of Grace Primary School.
