IDF Urged to Establish Clear Rules to Prevent Internal Conflict
WHY IT MATTERS
Establishing clear rules and a command chain is crucial to maintaining unity and effectiveness within the IDF, ensuring that soldiers can focus on their duties without being hindered by internal conflicts.
What happened
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) is facing a challenge in balancing the service of women and religious men.
To avoid internal conflict, the IDF is advised to establish clear rules and a command chain that prioritizes common sense and commanders who know their soldiers.
A previous draft failed to meet these standards, highlighting the need for a more structured approach.
