Peloton Launches Affordable Tread Flex Folding Treadmill

Peloton unveiled the Tread Flex, a new treadmill priced at $2,195 that folds upright to reduce its floor footprint by 50 percent compared with its predecessors. The device also features caster wheels for easy relocation and a smaller overall footprint than the company’s Bike Plus. The launch follows last year’s hardware refresh that added cameras, fans and the AI‑powered Peloton IQ software to the brand’s lineup. Chief product officer Nick Caldwell said the Flex was designed to respond to user requests for a machine that could be stowed more easily. The new treadmill is positioned as a more budget‑friendly option within Peloton’s Tread line, expanding the brand’s appeal to customers who need space‑saving fitness equipment.
