Alaska Airlines Introduces 'Choice Accrual' for Atmos Rewards Members

Starting this week, Alaska Airlines will allow Atmos Rewards members to choose how they earn points, a first for a U. S. airline. Members can select from three options: earning by flying the farthest, spending a lot, or taking the most flights. This setup aims to maximize earnings based on individual travel habits. Existing members who don't make a choice will default to the airline's longtime distance-based earning model, while new members will default to revenue-based earning. Members can change their selection once per calendar year.
