Cabinet Approves Rabi MSP Increase, Green Energy Corridor Boost, and Delhi AI Traffic System

The Union Cabinet today approved three major initiatives aimed at strengthening key sectors across the country. First, it raised the Minimum Support Prices for Rabi crops, giving farmers a higher guaranteed price for their harvests and encouraging agricultural production. Second, the cabinet granted additional funding to the Green Energy Corridor‑III scheme, a project designed to improve the transmission of renewable electricity between states and accelerate the country’s shift to clean power. Finally, Delhi will roll out an Intelligent Traffic Management System that uses real‑time data to optimise traffic flow and enhance road safety in the capital’s congested streets. Together, these measures address food security, energy infrastructure, and urban mobility.
