What happened
New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon hosted the inaugural Realm of New Zealand Leaders' Meeting in Auckland, bringing together leaders from the Cook Islands, Niue, and Tokelau. The meeting focused on regional priorities, the upcoming Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting, and strengthening Realm partnerships.
Cook Islands Prime Minister Mark Brown and Niue Prime Minister Dalton Tagelagi also attended, with Tokelau's Ulu Alapati Tavite representing the territory.
The meeting was co-hosted by Prime Minister Tagelagi, who proposed the initiative.
