What happened
The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra is set to host an evening of opera at Pallas Theatre on September 25, featuring the finalists of the International Masterclass & Competition for Opera Singers. The event marks the culmination of a five-day masterclass and competition held in collaboration with the ARTE Music Academy.
Young opera artists will showcase their talents, performing celebrated arias from major composers, including Mozart, Gluck, and Verdi. The competition will be conducted by maestro Yiorgos Kountouris, with guidance from Myron Michailidis and internationally renowned baritone Kyros Patsalides.
The winners will be announced at the concert finale, with three top prizes up for grabs. The concert promises to be an evening of lyrical passion and outstanding artistry, with the thrilling anticipation of competition.
