Vladivostok School Mandates Drone Patch on Uniforms

Students at School No. 61 in Vladivostok now must wear a patch depicting a drone on their uniforms, according to reports from the Telegram news channel “Ostorozhno Novosti” and the outlet “7×7.” Parents were asked to purchase the patches at specialty stores, though the specific vendors were not named. The new design replaces last year’s feather‑and‑flag motif and includes the school’s number. At the August 31 assembly—held a day early because of the Eastern Economic Forum—some children wore the new patches, others wore last year’s, and a few had none. While the patch is officially part of the uniform, parents are unsure whether a lack of a patch will be penalized. The school’s policy on compliance remains to be clarified.
