Hong Kong Education Delegation Visits Beijing Ahead of National Day

A delegation from the Hong Kong Education Sector, led by Secretary for Education Choi Yuk-lin, visited Beijing to meet with state leaders and Ministry of Education officials. The visit took place at the Great Hall of the People, where Ms Choi and the delegates exchanged views with officials. Ms Choi highlighted the significance of the visit, noting that it aligns with the National 15th Five-Year Plan and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's First Five-Year Plan. The delegation aimed to gain insight into the latest education developments in China and foster exchanges between the education sectors of Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland. The visit included a banquet hosted by the Ministry of Education, where discussions focused on professional connections and mutual learning. The delegation will conclude their visit and return to Hong Kong tomorrow.
