Colts Coach and GM in Trouble as Team Struggles
WHY IT MATTERS
The Colts' struggles have put the jobs of Steichen and Ballard in jeopardy, and the team's performance will be closely watched in the coming weeks to see if they can turn things around and meet the expectations of owner Irsay-Gordon.
What happened
Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen has stated that quarterback Daniel Jones will not be benched despite the team's recent struggles.
However, Steichen and general manager Chris Ballard are under pressure to deliver results, with owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon expressing frustration with the team's performance.
The Colts have lost four of their six games, including two at home, and the home crowd has booed the team, with chants of 'fire Ballard' heard at the end of the game.
