Bills Release Veteran Players Hardman and Wishnowsky

WHY IT MATTERS

The releases of Hardman and Wishnowsky will likely impact the Bills' special teams unit and may lead to opportunities for younger players to step up and fill the void.

What happened

The Buffalo Bills are releasing veteran returner and wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr. and veteran punter Mitch Wishnowsky, according to sources. This move comes as the team prepares for the upcoming NFL season. Hardman, a key player in the Bills' return game, has seen limited action in recent seasons, while Wishnowsky has been a reliable punter for the team. The releases are a clear indication of the Bills' roster shake-up ahead of the new season.
