Unique Performance Honors Women and Mothers at Ayia Napa Monastery

This performance celebrates the cultural heritage of Cyprus and honours the women and mothers who have shaped the country's history and memory.
What happened
The Cultural Academy Ayios Epifanios presents 'The Echo of Our Mother' at the Medieval Monastery of Ayia Napa on October 9. The performance, in Greek, tells stories of women, mothers, and Virgin Mary through words, music, and movement. Organisers say the event brings to life the love, pain, and strength of every mother.
Narration is led by Christina Kakkoura, with Giorgos Papakonstantinou, while Kyriakos Hadjiandreou and others perform live music. The cultural workshop Para ti Limni handles movement.
The event is free, but reservations are needed. It will take place at 7pm and 9pm.
