What happened
Alaska Airlines has announced a significant expansion of its premium offering with the unveiling of its new Aurora experience. The new product features lie-flat suites on Boeing 787 Dreamliners and select Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft.
This marks the first time lie-flat suites will be available on transcontinental flights on brand-new 737s, starting in 2028.
Additionally, Alaska Airlines is introducing Premium Reserve, increasing the share of premium seating on its 787-9s to approximately 46%.
