Will Reeve Announces He’s Cancer-Free After Battle With Testicular Cancer

Will Reeve, 34 and son of the late actor Christopher Reeve, revealed on "Good Morning America" that he was diagnosed with testicular cancer earlier this year. He discovered a hard lump in his left testicle a few months after his wedding, prompting an ultrasound that confirmed a mass requiring removal. Reeve underwent an orchiectomy, followed by a second surgery to excise abdominal lymph nodes and two rounds of chemotherapy at Memorial Sloan Kettering. He endured side effects such as ringing in the ears, bone pain, night sweats, blood clots, and headaches, but avoided hair loss by using cold capping. After completing treatment, he received clean scans on September 8, declaring the cancer “in the rearview mirror.” Reeve thanked his wife, Amanda Dubin, for her caregiving support and emphasized the importance of early detection for testicular cancer.
