Preserved Turkish Airlines Airbus A340 Destroyed by Fire at Museum

A preserved Turkish Airlines Airbus A340, once a flagship of the carrier and a Star Alliance member, was destroyed by fire at a museum in Turkey over the weekend. The wide‑body quadjet had served the airline for nearly 21 years before being withdrawn in the mid‑2010s and subsequently dismantled for preservation.
