Global Entry Mobile App Replaced by Trusted Traveler App

The Global Entry mobile app will stop working on September 15, and travelers will need to download a new 'Trusted Traveler app' to continue using the program's features. The new app will allow users to enter their arrival information, skip kiosks, and access other trusted travel programs like Nexus and SENTRI. The change does not affect travelers who typically use kiosks after international flights. Global Entry membership will remain active, and login information will be the same. The new app will also enable users to start an application or renewal process and navigate other trusted travel programs. The program's new camera-capture technology is currently live at six major US airports, allowing members to skip kiosks and head straight to an officer. Global Entry costs $120 for a five-year membership, but some travel credit cards will reimburse the application fee.
