University of Limassol Supports INSPIRE 2026 Entrepreneurial Festival
WHY IT MATTERS
The festival bridges academia and industry, advancing dialogue on entrepreneurship, innovation and the future of work, and shaping how education and organisations adapt to new career demands.
What happened
The University of Limassol (UoL) backed the two‑day INSPIRE 2026 Entrepreneurial Festival held on 7–8 October on Makarios Avenue in Nicosia. The event gathered founders, executives, investors, creators, academics and future leaders from Cyprus and beyond, offering seven themed stages that covered discussions, masterclasses, workshops, startup and funding sessions, and talks on artificial intelligence, the future of work and sustainability.
Networking areas, live music and street food complemented the programme. UoL’s support was highlighted by Dr Maria Charalampous, Program Director of the MSc in Occupational and Organizational Psychology, who joined the “Jobs and Skills of the Future” panel at the Future of Work Stage.
Her participation linked academic research on occupational psychology with the festival’s focus on evolving careers and organizational needs.
