Princess Cruises Launches Epic Alaska Cruisetours Visiting Four National Parks
WHY IT MATTERS
Princess Cruises’ multi‑park itineraries give travelers a rare, all‑in‑one experience of Alaska’s wilderness, combining convenient lodging, guided overland tours, and a scenic cruise that highlights the state’s most celebrated national parks.
What happened
Princess Cruises is expanding its Alaska lineup with three new “Denali Escorted” itineraries that blend a seven‑night Southeast Alaska cruise with overland stays in the state’s most iconic wilderness areas. The 15‑night tour (UB8) pairs three nights at the Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge with a three‑night stay near Denali and a two‑night Fairbanks stop, then heads to Glacier Bay on the ship. A shorter 13‑night version (SB6) replaces the Kenai leg with a stay at the Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge, giving guests a taste of Wrangell‑St. Elias before the cruise. The longest 17‑night journey (VB1/VA1) lets travelers visit both Kenai Fjords and Wrangell‑St. Elias, stay twice at each of Princess’s Denali lodges, and finish in Fairbanks—all while cruising past Glacier Bay and the historic town of Skagway. Princess’s unique advantage is its ownership of on‑site lodges, glass‑domed rail cars, and motorcoaches, which streamline transfers and provide exclusive access to remote park sites.
"These packages offer a rare chance to experience four of Alaska’s eight national parks in a single, well‑coordinated trip, making the state’s vast wilderness more accessible to travelers seeking both adventure and convenience," says a spokesperson for the cruise line.
