EssilorLuxottica has released a new version of its Nuance Audio glasses, designed to double as discreet over-the-counter hearing aids. The Nuance Audio Plus features improved sound boosting, better voice clarity, and extra on-device controls.
The glasses also offer up to 10 hours of battery life. The new model is now available in the US in three frame styles: Square, Pathos, and Upturn.
The Nuance Audio Plus is the result of a partnership between EssilorLuxottica and Meta, which previously collaborated on the Ray-Ban smart glasses. The FDA-cleared hearing aid technology is integrated into the temple arms of the glasses, making them a discreet option for those seeking hearing assistance.
