Sophie Adenot Completes Third Spacewalk in EVA‑99

What happened
On 1 September, ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot and NASA astronaut Jessica Meir finished US EVA‑99 at 21:29 CEST. The mission marked Adenot’s third spacewalk and the 33rd EVA conducted by a European astronaut.
The joint effort was part of routine maintenance and scientific work aboard the International Space Station.
The successful completion underscores the continued collaboration between ESA and NASA in extravehicular activities and adds to the growing body of experience for European crews in spacewalk operations.
