University of Cyprus Cultural Festival Wraps Up with Two Final Performances

The 29th edition of the University of Cyprus Cultural Festival is coming to a close with two final performances. On Friday, October 9, a multidisciplinary show titled 'Songs from the Garden' will feature live compositions, polyphonic singing, and contemporary puppetry. The performance brings together artists from different backgrounds to create a shared world of music, image, and storytelling. The festival's closing event on Sunday, October 11 welcomes the TratSik String Quartet, who will perform a new body of repertoire for string quartet inspired by Cyprus' rich musical heritage. The quartet, consisting of four performers and seven composers, will reimagine traditional Cypriot melodies through the language and techniques of contemporary chamber music.
