Ukraine: Women's Rights Organizations Inform Humanitarian Needs Plan

The Gender in Humanitarian Action Working Group in Ukraine conducted annual consultations with women's rights organizations to inform the Humanitarian Needs and Response Plan 2027. Five online consultations were held with organizations representing crisis-affected populations, including survivors of GBV and CRSV, women and girls with disabilities, and the LGBTIQ+ community. The consultations aimed to gather insights from diverse groups, including Roma women and girls, women and girls living with HIV, and people with substance use disorders receiving opioid substitution therapy. The key takeaways were presented in Kyiv during a Meaning-Making Workshop organized by the Gender in Humanitarian Action Working Group in collaboration with other groups. This collaborative effort aims to ensure that the humanitarian response in Ukraine addresses the specific needs of vulnerable populations. The consultations will inform the development of the Humanitarian Needs and Response Plan 2027, which will guide humanitarian efforts in the country.
