What happened
Ukrainian drones and missiles struck Taganrog overnight, damaging an Ozon warehouse, several residential buildings, stores, and administrative buildings. The strike also targeted the G. V.
Beriev Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex, which repairs and upgrades military aircraft. In the Samara region, Ukrainian drones damaged an industrial facility, reportedly Rosneft's Syzran oil refinery. The attacks come after US President Donald Trump announced a supposed energy truce between Ukraine and Russia, which Financial Times sources claim Trump jumped the gun on.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had expressed doubt about Russia's commitment to the deal. No one was injured in the strikes, according to Rostov Governor Yuri Slyusar.
