What happened
United Airlines' newest plane, the Airbus A321XLR, is set to make its international debut on December 1, flying from Dulles International Airport to Dublin and Amsterdam. The plane features 20 Polaris business-class suites with lie-flat seats, sliding privacy doors, and 19-inch 4K entertainment screens.
The A321XLR also boasts a walk-up snack bar for economy passengers and extra legroom Economy Plus seats.
United plans to fly the plane on long-haul routes across the Atlantic Ocean, opening up new markets for the airline.
