University of Limassol and University of Crete Strengthen Academic Cooperation

The University of Limassol (UoL) and the University of Crete (UoC) have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to strengthen international engagement and academic cooperation. The agreement establishes a framework for joint activities and initiatives, including the exchange of academic staff and students, mutual participation in research and educational programmes, and the joint organisation of academic and cultural events. The Centre for Lifelong Learning (KEDIVIM) of the University of Crete will develop joint training programmes and seminars with the University of Limassol. This cooperation is expected to broaden the scope of KEDIVIM's training activities and strengthen its links with educational and academic institutions outside Greece. The ceremony featured addresses by the rectors and directors of the two universities, as well as the Deputy Mayor of Rethymno. The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed, formalising the two institutions' commitment to developing joint activities in education, research, professional development, and culture.
