According to Greg Reverdiau, an Arizona-based drone trainer, over 98% of the 3,800 comments submitted to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) opposed the proposal or raised concerns about it. Reverdiau, the founder of Pilot Institute, which helps aviators obtain licenses, noted that the unusual consensus among the public comments was a sign of the proposal's potential impact.
The proposal's failure to pass these checks suggests that it may not be effective in addressing concerns about foreign-made drones.
