Air Canada Expands International Footprint with 125+ Routes and 169,000 Weekly Seats

Air Canada is broadening its global network, adding new destinations such as Mallorca, Berlin, Ponta Delgada, Catania, and Brussels this year. The carrier plans to operate more than 125 international routes during the summer 2027 season, offering up to 169,000 seats each week from Canada to over 85 destinations across the Atlantic, Pacific, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America and South America. The expansion reflects the airline’s strategy to increase connectivity and compete in key markets, while providing Canadian travelers with more direct options to popular and emerging destinations.
