What happened
The International Organization for Migration's Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) has released its June 2026 edition, providing insights into human mobility trends worldwide. The report highlights the first national estimate of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Bangladesh due to disasters, as well as mobility trends in Lebanon due to military escalations.
In Haiti, the report features progress towards durable solutions for IDPs. Additionally, it includes updates on Syrian nationals' future intentions in Belgium and cross-border mobility from Myanmar to Thailand.
The DTM Insight report aims to enhance accessibility to DTM data and analysis, providing monthly updates on human mobility in locations where DTM is operational. The report is structured according to the IOM Strategic Plan (2024-2028) and highlights salient insights from DTM's data and analysis.
