UN Women Secures $142 Million in 2025 Regular Resources from 74 Partners

UN Women announced that 74 funding partners contributed a total of USD 142 million in 2025 regular resources, the voluntary core and unearmarked contributions that underpin the organization’s work. The money is earmarked for the organization’s triple mandate—normative, coordination and operational—across all regions and contexts. With the new funding, UN Women will continue to operate in 83 countries and presences, responding to crises, sustaining long‑term efforts and driving systemic change for women and girls worldwide. The report shows how the resources advance results at global, regional and country levels, from strengthening laws and policies to improving coordination across the UN system and delivering tangible improvements in the lives of women and girls. As pressures on progress for women and girls grow, the predictable, flexible funding is essential to protect hard‑won gains and advance lasting change.
