What happened
Xbox has added Mythic achievements to its PC app, a new tier that unlocks when a player completes every achievement in a game. The update shows the Mythic icon on screen with a distinct sound, and the data can be viewed on the Xbox dashboard.
Players can also add their Mythic tally to their public profiles. Early Insider testers have already seen references to the feature in prototype dashboard builds.
The move mirrors Sony’s Platinum trophy system, giving Xbox users a comparable brag‑worthy metric. The feature is currently available only through the PC app, but it signals a broader push to expand the platform’s achievement ecosystem.
