Yemen Conflict Escalates, Displacement Crisis Intensifies in Aden

The humanitarian situation in Yemen is changing rapidly as escalating conflict forces more families from their homes. In Aden, nearly 60 newly displaced families arrived, a sharp rise from about 10 tents two days earlier. Families arrive with little more than clothing, and many are visibly distressed. One woman had only her clothes, and another fled two weeks after giving birth with an unwell newborn. Urgent needs include food, safe shelter, dignity supplies, private sanitation, and healthcare, especially maternal and newborn care. Mental health support is also critical. The growing displacement pressures already stretched services, demanding safe access and flexible response from humanitarian organizations to reach affected people.
