American Airlines Accelerates Chicago‑Tokyo Service, Replacing JAL

American Airlines will launch nonstop flights from Chicago O’Hare to Tokyo Narita a week earlier than planned, beginning March 19. The change follows the airline’s decision to replace Japan Airlines’ existing nonstop service, which will be discontinued on March 27. The earlier start reflects strong demand for the route and allows American to capture market share before JAL’s service ends.
