NASA Teams with NFL for Nationwide Inspiration Tour Flyovers

NASA will launch a series of flyovers, astronaut appearances, and fan‑engagement activities at four NFL games this fall, marking the agency’s first season of on‑field outreach. The partnership, announced by Administrator Jared Isaacman, will feature NASA’s high‑speed aircraft and other test platforms, demonstrating technologies used for astronaut training and high‑altitude research. Scheduled games include Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Atlanta Falcons on Sept. 13, Baltimore Ravens vs. New Orleans Saints on Sept. 20, Philadelphia Eagles vs. Los Angeles Rams on Oct. 4, and New York Jets vs. Cleveland Browns in East Rutherford on Oct. 11. Each event will highlight NASA’s work on lunar missions, fission‑powered spacecraft, and aeronautics innovation. The tour will conclude with MAX POWER, a two‑day public exposition at Kennedy Space Center on Nov. 7‑8, showcasing next‑generation aircraft, autonomous vehicles, and space‑transportation technologies.
