NASA Awards Payload Processing Contract to Four Companies

NASA has awarded the Spacecraft Processing Operations Contract on‑ramp provision to four companies—All Points Logistics, Blue Origin, Firefly Aerospace, and L3Harris Technologies—to provide commercial payload processing services for agency missions. The contract enables qualified providers to perform prelaunch processing of spacecraft and rocket hardware at launch sites that lacked such capabilities when the original contract was awarded. It is a multiple‑award, commercial, firm‑fixed‑price, indefinite‑delivery/indefinite‑quantity vehicle with a $100 million ceiling and an ordering period through February 1, 2033. The Launch Services Program at Kennedy Space Center will manage the contract, helping NASA and partners launch science payloads from various locations.
