What happened
Frontier Airlines has announced significant changes to its Frontier Miles loyalty program, making it easier to earn top-tier Elite Diamond status in 2027. The airline has lowered the elite status points required to earn Elite Diamond status from 100,000 to 75,000.
However, noncardholders will earn fewer miles on basic fares and bundles, while cardholders will see a slight increase in mileage earning rates. Elite members will enjoy new benefits, including complimentary upgrades and increased checked bag allowances.
The airline is also introducing milestone rewards, allowing elite members to select additional perks and rewards.
